Davie Hyman designs custom, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind needlepoint canvases for individuals and ecclesiastic organizations. This warm and talented grandmother of ten handles all her clients personally from consultation through design, color, fiber and stitch selection to the completion of a finished product.

Over the past 30 years she has studied with many of the top national teachers at seminars and workshops to perfect her knowledge and experience enabling her to receive the Certification in Canvas Embroidery by the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. She has gained national recognition through the wide spread acknowledgment and acceptance of her book The Diagonal Basketweave.
